George Ciordas-Hertel is a doctoral researcher at the Educational Technologies group of the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education, based in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). He started his career as a software engineer in 2010 working for a network technology provider. There he worked on several software products. In November 2017 he got accepted as a doctoral researcher at the DIPF on the topic of Trusted Learning Analytics Infrastructures. His current research focus is in the area of big data infrastructures, where he is investigating privacy requirements and the creation of generic architectures.
